Hi dears,
we’re Mira and Geri, two moms with a bunch of kids (five in total!). Tired, happy, and like so many others, just trying to figure it all out. Near & Dear was born out of a shared desire to bring a little light into our lives and, hopefully, into yours too.
We know what it’s like to wrestle with the daily ups and downs - fears, insecurities, and anxieties. We’re not just the creators of Near & Dear, we’re also its audience. Like you, we need those gentle reminders to lift us up, to help us feel more confident, and to stay grounded in a world that can feel overwhelming. Every affirmation, every design, reflects our belief in the power of words to heal, motivate, and inspire.
Truthfully, the journey of creating Near & Dear wasn’t without its challenges. While we wholeheartedly believe in what we’ve built, the process wasn’t always easy. There were doubts, uncertainties, and moments of hesitation. But through it all, we kept reminding ourselves of the same affirmations we now share with you - that progress matters more than perfection, that we are worthy of love and respect, and that each step forward counts.
So, Near & Dear isn’t just a brand, it’s a reflection of who we are, a way to stay connected to what truly matters, and a source of encouragement for ourselves and others.
